Reform Listing ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what your rights are under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and any other applicable privacy laws.
By using the Reform Listing platform — including the website at reformlisting.com and the Ada AI voice assistant — you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Who We Are
Reform Listing operates the property marketplace at reformlisting.com. We are the Data Controller responsible for your personal data processed through this Platform. Contact us at josephogiku96@gmail.com.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Account Data
When you register an account, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Gender and date of birth
- State and city of residence
- Profile photograph (optional)
- Account type (buyer or seller/agent)
3.2 Seller and Agent Data
If you register as a seller or agent, we additionally collect:
- Business or agency name
- WhatsApp contact number
- Agent type and tier
- Availability schedule
- Identity verification documents, which may include your National Identification Number (NIN)
3.3 Listing Data
When you create a property listing, we collect:
- Property description, type, price, and location (including GPS coordinates)
- Property photographs, videos, floor plans, and virtual tour materials
- Listing history and status updates
3.4 Transaction and Activity Data
- Properties you have saved or shortlisted
- Search history and filters applied
- Offers submitted or received
- Viewing requests made or received
- Subscription and payment records
- Review history
3.5 Ada AI Voice Assistant Data
When you use Ada, our AI voice assistant, we collect:
- Voice input (processed for speech-to-text conversion)
- Transcribed conversation text
- Property preferences expressed during conversations
- Search queries made through Ada
Voice data is processed in real time and transcripts may be retained for service improvement purposes as described in Section 6.
3.6 Technical Data
We automatically collect certain technical data when you access the Platform:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URLs
- Session tokens and cookies
4. How We Collect Your Data
- Directly from you when you register, create listings, submit forms, or use Ada.
- Automatically through cookies, session tokens, and analytics tools when you interact with the Platform.
- From third-party payment processors (Paystack) in connection with subscription and service payments.

6. Ada AI Voice Assistant — Special Notice
Ada is powered by third-party AI language models. When you speak to Ada:
- Your voice is converted to text by a speech-to-text service.
- The text is sent to an AI language model to generate a response.
- Your conversation are not stored.
Ada voice conversations are processed in real-time and are not recorded or stored by ReformListing. Audio is streamed securely and discarded immediately after processing. Session metadata (such as session duration and connection identifiers) may be retained by our infrastructure provider LiveKit for up to 30 days for operational purposes. No conversation content, transcripts, or audio recordings are retained by ReformListing.
7. Identity Verification Data (NIN)
For seller and agent accounts, we may request your National Identification Number (NIN) for identity verification purposes. This data is:
- Collected with your explicit consent.
- Stored in encrypted form.
- Used solely for the purpose of verifying your identity and preventing fraud on the Platform.
- Not shared with third parties except where required by law or where necessary to complete the verification process with an authorised verification service.
You have the right to withdraw consent for this processing at any time, though doing so may affect your ability to maintain a seller or agent account.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:
- Paystack — to process payments. Paystack operates under its own privacy policy.
- AI and cloud service providers — for speech processing, language model inference, and data storage, under data processing agreements.
- Analytics providers — for platform performance monitoring, under data processing agreements.
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies — where required by law or court order.
- Business successors — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Platform, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
All third-party service providers are required to process your data only for the specific purposes we have authorised and in compliance with applicable law.
9. Data Retention
- Account data — retained for the duration of your account and up to 2 years after account deletion.
- Transaction records — retained for 7 years for financial and legal compliance purposes.
- Technical/log data — retained for up to 6 months.
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
10. Your Rights Under the NDPA 2023
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification — You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure — You may request deletion of your data where there is no lawful basis for continued processing.
- Right to Restrict Processing — You may request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to Data Portability — You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to Object — You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing.
- Right to Withdraw Consent — Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

11. Cookies

12. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, or destruction. These include encryption of sensitive data at rest, secure HTTPS connections, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
14. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (including AI and cloud infrastructure) may process your data outside Nigeria. Where we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual obligations that require the receiving party to protect your data to a standard equivalent to Nigerian law.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
